The Review Corner is a guide to the best children's educational products. Products reviewed on the site have been carefully selected from hundreds of products, handpicked for their superior ability to both educate and entertain children. See our How We Rate Products page for more information about our selection process.

Recommended products are divided into three main categories:

Best Children's Educational Software includes CD-ROMs designed to teach children educational skills as they play.
Best Children's Books, Music, and Video/DVD includes superior books, children's music and audio products, videos, and DVDs.
Best Children's Toys and Games includes educational toys and games, video games that offer kids some opportunities to develop thinking skills, and CD-ROMs designed to entertain children.

Note that software reviews are included in both of these categories: Best Children's Educational Software and Best Children's Toys and Games. Software programs with a clear educational agenda are included in the Educational Software best list, while software titles designed more for fun than learning are found in the Toys & Games category.

Reviews are detailed, impartial, and comprehensive. All reviews include a "bottom line", rating (out of 5 stars), as well as product details.
